Terms and Conditions

Customer Privacy

At First Choice PC Fix, your trust means everything to us. We understand that your devices often contain sensitive, personal, and irreplaceable information — and we treat that responsibility with the utmost seriousness.

Whenever we access your device for diagnostics or repair, your data remains your data. We do not browse, copy, or retain any personal files unless explicitly authorized by you for backup or recovery purposes. Any information we may encounter during the repair process is handled with strict confidentiality, and our technicians follow clear, documented protocols to ensure your privacy is never compromised.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties — ever. Our commitment to data security includes secure handling practices, limited access controls, and a zero-retention policy for customer data unless otherwise requested.
For full transparency, we encourage you to review our full Privacy Policy on our website, which outlines how we protect your information and your rights as a customer.
Your device is in expert hands — and so is your privacy.

Terms and Conditions for Computer Drop-Off

Acceptance of Terms

By dropping off your computer at First Choice PC Fix, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Assessment and Diagnostics

Upon drop-off, a preliminary assessment will be conducted to identify the issues. Any diagnostic fees will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding with repairs.

Customer Responsibility

Customers must ensure that all personal data is backed up before drop-off. Unless you require First Choice PC Fix to do a full backup. We will not be held responsible for any data loss during the repair process.

Description of Condition

Customers will provide an accurate description of the computer's condition and any pre-existing issues. This includes both physical appearance and functional problems.

Repair Authorization

No repairs will commence without the customer's approval. An estimate of the cost and time required will be provided, and customer consent will be obtained before any work begins.

Refusal of Service

First Choice PC Fix reserves the right to refuse service if a computer is found to be in a deplorable state, such as infested with bugs or excessively dirty. A $29 service fee may be assessed if we determine that a PC is unrepairable or if the cost of repair exceeds the cost of purchasing a new one.

Deposit and Payment

A deposit may be required upon drop-off, which will be deducted from the total cost of repairs. Full payment is due upon collection of the repaired computer.

Onsite Repairs

If onsite repairs are required and cannot be completed within the agreed time frame, the computer may need to be transported to our office for further work. The length of time for repairs will be mutually agreed upon based on the repair needed.

Collection and Storage

Customers will be notified when the repair is complete. Computers not collected within 30 days of notification may incur storage fees, and computers left unclaimed for more than 60 days may be subject to disposal.

Warranty on Repairs

All repairs are guaranteed for 30 days from the date of collection. This warranty covers the specific repairs conducted and does not include any new issues that arise after the repair.

Liability Limitation

First Choice PC Fix is not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided.

Communication

Customers will be kept informed of repair progress via their preferred method of contact (phone, email, or SMS).

Amendments First Choice PC Fix reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes.
